There have been a few videos of musical flash mobs recently, but this one may be my favorite. One of Australia's most famous drag queens, Joyce Maynge, joins forces with a flash mob of hot aussies to create a enormous scene on Bondi Beach!

Maggie Graham's seasonal one-woman show, wherein she impersonates a bevy of gay icons, is back for three special performances in New York this December. Watch as Carol Channing invokes the essences of Judy Garland, Angela Lansbury, and many more in a rollicking Christmas show that, much like the Matrix, must be seen for itself. Check out the website for more info.

I stumbled upon these delicious pieces of artwork and simply had to share with you all. An incredibly talented artist has done some sexed-up renderings of Disney's princes and male hunks that simply have to be seen to be believed. Two of my favorites are above I don't really remember Lilo & Stitch that well, but if David looked like this in it, I'm sure it would never leave my DVD player! And who wouldn't have enjoyed Milo in Atlantis more if he had been wearing a Speedo throughout? Click on over here to see the whole lot!

It seemed to me that the gay community was gaining presence in the world of sci-fi television, what with prominent gay characters on shows like Torchwood. Sadly, the SciFi channel... I mean... sigh... the Syfy channel received a failing grade from GLAAD's annual Network Responsibility Index, since only two of their shows include gay characters.
Syfy promises that upcoming shows (notably, the Battlestar Galactica spinoff Caprica) will be sure to feature some prominent LGBT roles.

Miss Cleo's a lesbian? When did that happen?
Miss Cleo, whose real name it turns out is Youree Dell Cleomili Harris (why on earth didn't she just go by that?) has apparently been out since 2006, and has been quite active in the gay community. She even emceed at last year's PrideFest in the Palm Beaches.
This interesting article details more of Miss Cleo's colorful history, from Psychic Friends spokeslady to Grand Theft Auto: Vice City voice actress.

Ever wonder why Terminators are always naked when they first arrive in the past? CollegeHumor makes use of Occam's razor by providing what truly is the simplest explanation: somebody thought it would be totally hot. They weren't necessarily wrong.

Horror movies and massive gayness just seem to naturally go well together, be it intentional or not. Cracked.com has decided to explore the more unintentional variety of gay horror with the top 5 "accidentally" homoerotic horror movies. The offenders naturally include The Lost Boys and The Covenant.
A general primer of gay horror cinema is available at CampBlood.org. If you're in the mood for something a little more overtly gay, there are plenty of options out there.
Gabe and Jenny don't put out new videos nearly as often as I'd like, but when the self-proclaimed "platonic life partners" get together, you can be pretty sure it's gon' be good. Check out this viral ad they did for Jim Beam bourbon. It has nothing to do with bourbon, but everything to do with awesome.

I'm generally not a great fan of most of the programming found on Logo, but one of the more interesting shows they've aired in recent years is Coming Out Stories. Maybe it's the cathartic, often uplifting nature of coming out, or maybe I just have a weakness for complex moments with conservative Asian mothers.
Showtime is developing their own coming-out reality show entitled Way Out, which sounds like it may focus more on the closeted life of individuals in addition to their eventual coming out. This coincides with the development of another gay-themed Showtime series, except that one will probably have more capes in it.

Last June I mentioned that Perry Moore's Hero, a book about a gay teenager with superpowers, might be adapted into a TV series. Looks like the project is finally good to go, though somewhat unsurprisingly, the show will only be airing on the subscription cable channel Showtime.
The hourlong series is being written by Moore and produced by comic titan Stan Lee.

California liberals may be feeling a little bittersweet in the wake of yesterday's election. On the one hand, Barack Obama won the presidential race in a landslide victory. But on the negative side, Proposition 8 passed, once again banning same-sex marriage in California.
Condolences to Californian same-sex couples, who are no doubt disappointed by this decision. Here's a video of an adorable baby chipmunk, which I bet totally makes up for having your constitutional rights taken away.
